Obesity and Pakistan!

Prevalence of obesity (BMI or Body Mass Index) in 25-44 year old in rural areas was 9% for men and 14% for women; in urban areas, prevalence was 22% and 37% for men and women, respectively. For 45-64 year old, prevalence was 11% for men and 19% for women in rural areas, and 23% and 40% in urban areas for men and women, respectively. In South Asia, including Pakistan, social and environmental changes are occurring rapidly, with increasing urbanization, changing lifestyles, higher energy density of diets, and reduced physical activity.

Obesity is a medical problem that kills thousands of people each year, results in more chronic illnesses than smoking cigarettes and can contribute to heart disease and diabetes. Food is the vital source of energy necessary for the human body to survive, all types of which with the exception of water contain calories. If the calorie intake exceeds the amount required for the body to function to optimum levels, the body chemistry converts and stores unused energy as fat. Obesity is calculated using a formula known as the Body Mass Index (BMI). It is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both men and women. A BMI of 25 to 29.9 is considered overweight and one of more than 30 is considered obese. Being significantly overweight is linked to a wide range of health problems including, heart disease, high blood pressure, arthritis, diabetes, indigestion, gallstones some cancers, snoring and sleep apnea, stress, anxiety and depression, to name but a few.

According to the World Heart Federation obesity is alarmingly appearing amongst the younger generation; an estimated 22 million children under the age of five are now severely overweight. However, the fast-food industry has come to be held as one of the main culprits. Indeed there has been a real shift of change in the human diet during the last century since the advent of snack food chains such as McDonald's and KFC. Homemade food has given way to convenient high-energy or high calorie food rich in fat, salt and sugar. On the other hand, the fast food industry has become a huge international business. With a multi-billion dollar turnover in the global fast-food industry, it is no surprise that such international companies will do all they can to keep people eating and the profits rolling in, attempting to convince the public that their products are healthy.

The food marketing industry that stands accused of targeting in particular young children through provocative adverts and incentives such as free gifts with kids' meals or inside cereal boxes. Also blamed are endorsements from celebrities such as pop stars, sports personalities and TV presenters who all have considerable influence on the choice of food of both children and adults. The nature of desire as a criterion for controlling actions is such that it is constantly fluctuating, with the individual being torn between varieties of differing pleasures. The aim of satisfying desires will never bring peace and contentment to an individual and comes at great cost to both body and soul. When this concept is applied to food and drink, it leads to people enjoying these things to excess; obesity can be considered a natural outcome.

Ramadan merriment of Pakistani inhabitants!

The holiest month ninth at number on the Islamic Calendar is “Ramadan”. It is a month of fasting from sunrise to sunset and self discipline. It is widely observed in Pakistan. Muslim in Pakistan is about 97% of the whole population. They fast, attend mosques with increased frequency, and recite Quran during the entire period of one month in Ramadan.

After completing the fasting month on the first day of Shawwal all the Muslims celebrate “Eid ul fitr”. Eid is an Arabic word meaning "festivity", while Fitr means "to purify"; and so the holiday symbolizes the purification. Eid-ul-Fiter Salat or Namaz is a Sunnah strongly recommended, just short of obligatory of Muhammad PBUH. The Salat comprise of two raka’ah Namaz which generally offered in an open field called Eid-gaah and also known as “Namaz e Eid”. This Salat should be performed with Jama’at with extra six Takbirs, three of them in the beginning of the first raka'ah and three of them just before ruku' in the second raka'ah. 

Eid ul-Fitr lasts for one day of celebrations. Yet, it is celebrated for two or more days in some countries. It is sometimes also known as the "Smaller Eid".

As daylight begins to fade, Muslims await the Muezzin's call to perform the Maghreb prayers. Once the call is heard they may break fast called Iftari in Arabic. Most will first take some form of thirst-quenching drink. This varies not only by individual preferences but also but local customs. It is quite common in the Middle East to breakfast with water and dates. But in Pakistan it is more common to drink a local fruit juice or rose syrup water with some dates. Then they have a lot of food variety in Iftari such as smosa, pakora, chicken roll, fruit chat, channa chat, and dahi bahlay. And finally after offering prayer they go for their regular evening meal. 

Chand Raat occurs the night before Eid day celebrations commence. It is actually marking the end of the month of Ramadan. In the night known as Chand Raat all people celebrate by various means such as girls putting henna on their hands. People buy gifts and sweets that will be given to friends and families who come over to celebrate the end of Ramadan. The streets, major building and landmarks, even outside of malls and plazas, put on displays of elaborate decorations and colorful light shows. There are large crowds in the city ready to celebrate the beginning of Eid and it is a boom time for business in all essence.

Country like Pakistan which has lack of everything is surprisingly abounded in the news channels. No one knows exactly how many news channels our country have but exactly knows they are many and still growing aggressively. Today our youth is wasting his time in front of these news channels because what do our children actually watch? Education about TNT, explosives, child and women rapes, human corpses, human flesh, human beheaded bodies, blood, tears, and complains. Talk shows based on science and technology, human history, world affairs OR Talk shows just about Stupid and corrupted Politicians in Pakistan. Are we receiving updated news about world or just Pakistan? What do we see in entertainment news? Off course nothing but stupid news about “porn Indian Film Industry”. 

Crimes involving violence occur in large scale everywhere but no media ever shows the A-Z crime scene to the general public because they don’t want to violate the innocent minds of their young generation with horrifying videos and pictures but what happens in Pakistan is that not only the crime story is discussed in detail but they all show the crime blooded tools and crime location filled with blood and human corpses. They show blooded and burned human body parts live on their channels to our Children. Our children today know more about explosive devices and metal tools than they do about Science and technology.

The youth of Pakistan is losing trust on their country. Every literate Pakistani is in hurry to leave Pakistan as soon as Possible. Today more highly qualified Pakistani young gentlemen are serving Foreign Nations than serving their Homeland. And this is what westerns dream to see “a Confused Muslim Nation, with its youth with no purpose in life” and no attention towards Science and human development. News Channels serve only to show the bad about Pakistanis and Muslim. In short Most of these channels are ran and funded by western Companies. This Business is bringing them jewels plus serving their religious motives. This scenario is very important as a Pakistani to analyze and deal with it collectively.

Traditional Pakistani Dressings

Shalwar Kameez is the national dress of Pakistan. Shalwars are loose trousers designed in various styles. Originally, the shalwars were flared towards the bottom with embellishments or fancy cut work. Today, there are many variations of the same. At times, the bottom of the shalwar is narrow and fitting. The shalwar kameez is important especially during the festivals celebrated in Pakistan, for men as well as women. Shalwar kameez is also popular due to the comfort factor. The shalwar is tied at the waist with the help of a drawstring and more recently; elastic is also used for the same purpose. The fit is generally baggy or tapering. The fast pace economical development in the country has demanded more efforts from its employees. Now organizations in Pakistan are paying off good salary packages, compensation and benefits but the nature of the work is more demanding. Good Governance tribulations in Pakistan

The issue of governance is a key component of policies for economic development. Good governance acts as a positive force to influence economic growth. A growing amount of available evidence suggests that lack of quality governance hinders growth and investment, and aggravates poverty and inequality. As the matter of fact developing countries are characterized by weak institutions, low growth, poverty and inequality all which translate into low levels of human development. The multiplicative effects of these outcomes result in poverty traps that are extremely difficult to break out.
Good governance can lead a country to achieve high and sustained economic growth by establishing conducive environment for saving and investment, risk taking, providing incentives to producers, creating certainty in markets, increasing the size of markets by removing barriers to international trade and improvements in competitiveness. It is a key component in the development factors. The emphasis on reforming economies to achieve high rates of economic growth is largely motivated by the fact that economic growth associates with lower poverty rates and improvements in the quality of life. It is assumed that there is a strong link between economic growth and poverty reduction.
Basically, Governance means process of decision-making and the process by which decisions are implemented. The quality of governance is determined by the impact of this exercise of power on the quality of life enjoyed by the citizens. Governance can be used in several contexts such as international governance, corporate governance, national governance and local governance. Government is one of the actors in governance. Asian Development Bank (1995) identified four basic elements of good governance such as accountability, participation, predictability and transparency.
Political Governance consists of two factors as (i) Voice and accountability. (ii) Political instability and violence. The political governance indicator is intended to capture the process by which government is selected, monitored and replaced. Indicator such as “voice and accountability” measures political, civil, human rights and independence of the media. It includes a number of indicators measuring various aspects of political process, civil liberties and political rights. It measures the extent to which citizens of a country are able to participate in the selection of government while the “political instability” indicator captures whether the government in power will be destabilized or overthrown by possibly unconstitutional or violent means, including military cop, terrorism etc. Pakistan after analyzing on both factors is a politically instable country.
Economic Governance has also two factors as (i) Government effectiveness. (ii) Regulatory quality. These two indicators summarize various indicators that include the government’s capacity to effectively formulate and implement sound policies. The thrust of this is on the input required government to be able to produce or implement good policies and quality delivery of public good. The ‘regulatory quality’ governance indicator includes measures of the incidence of market unfriendly policies such as price control or inadequate bank supervision, as well as the perceptions of the burdens imposed by excessive regulation in area such as foreign trade and business development. Pakistan is also weak on these grounds.
To remedies these solution what Pakistan needs is to develop proper and transparent process of elections so that right leadership can come on up front. Also planning in every exist but poor implementation is ruining image of government all over the country and abroad which require a serious heed to resolve issues like that.

Current Crisis in Pakistan - Possible solutions

Pakistan is the world’s first Muslim nuclear-armed “failed state”. The country’s current situation is as terrorist bombings, uprising of Islamic fundamentalists, a weakened democracy and a faltering economy. Every day that passes things get even worse and economy is in down spin. Relations with India were recently on the road to reestablishment after years of conflict over Kashmir issue but received a quick setback after the recent attacks on Mumbai. Before that Pakistan was facing the consequences of the 9/11 accident whose blame is also on the shoulders of Muslims. The situation in Pakistan is very bad or one can say on the edge. Said by one US official “No money, No energy and now No government”.
Pakistan is facing now-a-days existential crisis on its streets, its courts, and its parliaments. Most democracy experts say that the system needs informed and educated masses. Fortunately no one Pakistani political leader denies with this fact but unfortunately these same politicians don’t even help a little to make Pakistanis to read and write.
Pakistan necessitates a lead which has determination, optimistic, and act as a catalyst for it. Basically it is a time of showing new ideas and creativity in building the ruined relationship with whom who are the true friends of Pakistan. With other vital problems Pakistan is facing the high inflation rate along with unemployment & lack of investment.
The most unfortunate aspect of the Pakistan’s crisis is that the judiciary was always kept under restrain by all successive governments. The doctrine of dichotomy of powers is the essence of our Constitution. In reality, this system could not be developed because of regular military invasions. For more than 32 years, i.e. more than half of its life, Pakistan had remained under the rule of different military generals. This one man rule has extended the authority and powers of executive more than the system of dichotomy required. It is very painful to note that the judiciary in Pakistan has extended authority to military rulers to legislate and even to amend the Constitution. 

Inflation remains the biggest threat to the economy, jumping to more than 9% in 2005 before easing to 7.9% in 2006. In 2008, following the surge in global petrol prices inflation in Pakistan has reached as high as 25.0%. In 2009 it jumped to 30%.The central bank is pursuing tighter monetary policy while trying to preserve growth.
While Pakistan has some social and political problems, it has also been stated as being the tourism industry's big thing. Pakistan has diverse cultures, people and landscapes. The country's attraction range from the ruin of civilization such as Mohenjo-Daro, Harappa and Taxila, to the Himalayan hill stations, which attract those interested in winter sports.
The romances of the North West Frontier Province is timeless and legend. Punjab province has the site of Alexander's battle on the Jhelum River and the historic city Lahore, Pakistan's cultural capital, with many examples of Mughal architecture such as Badshahi Masjid, Shalimar Gardens, Tomb of Jahangir and the Lahore Fort. Before the Global economic crisis Pakistan received more than 500,000 tourists.
In 2009, The World Economic Forum’s Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report ranks Pakistan as one of the top 25% tourist destinations for its World Heritage sites. Ranging from mangroves in the South, to the 5,000-year-old cities of the Indus Valley Civilization —Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa.
Pakistan receives economic aid from several sources as loans and grants. The International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), etc provides long term loans to Pakistan. Pakistan also receives bilateral aid from developed and oil-rich countries. In November 2008, The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a loan of 7.6 Billion to Pakistan, to help Stabilize and rebuild the country's economy. More recently the govt. of Pakistan received an economic aid of US $5bn dollars out of which the US pledge of $1bn was described as a down-payment on the previously announced $1.5bn already promised to Pakistan for each of the next five years.

The European Union promised $640m over four years, while reports said Saudi Arabia had pledged $700m over two years. Overall Friends of Pakistan had pledged $1.6 billion in aid, which would help Pakistan, move forward on its way to self-reliance. In my opinion, Pakistan should focus on the self-blessing providing to it by Allah such as its major crops, minerals and the other hidden powers present within its human capital.

Scenario of unemployment in Pakistan!

Unemployment is if a person has ability to do work and is willing to do work but is unable to get job opportunity. There are so many reasons of unemployment but here are a few in this discussion like one reason is in Pakistan education system is defective. There is no educational planning. This system is producing the stuff, which is useless in technical fields of the country. There is lack of technical and vocational institutions. Public attitude towards education is wrong, they want to get their degrees in general and arts subjects. Nobody can set up his own business without technical education.

Similarly, In Pakistan there is lack of every kind of planning. There is a huge difference between the demand and supply for labor. There is absence of such kind of planning to produce doctors, engineers, technical, experts, scientists etc, according to the need of different sectors of the economy. Load shedding of electricity is disturbing economy, especially the industrial sector. Due to less availability and high rates of basic inputs like electricity, gas and oil etc, many industries have been closed and job vanished.

In Pakistan, tax system is not satisfactory. Ratio of direct taxes is more than indirect taxes. Tax dodging is common. Due to less income from the taxes, government cannot start developmental projects. If there is no investment, then from where public would find jobs. On the other side if government takes step to increase indirect taxes, it would also affect investment and ultimately employment level.

Political instability, bad law and order situation, army’s interference, bomb blasts, terrorism, inconsistent economic policies etc are the factors which are disturbing domestic and foreign investment. Due to 9/11 incident, Gulf war and the baseless allegations of terrorism the image of Pakistan has been affected very badly at international level. So in the current scenario Pakistan has limited job opportunities in other countries of the world too. Craziness for work only in government sector, instead of private sector and seasonal firms, industries are also responsible for unemployment.

The negative impact of unemployment is as during a long period of unemployment, workers can lose their skills, causing a loss of human capital. Being unemployed can also reduce the life expectancy of workers by about 7 years. High unemployment can encourage racism as workers fear that outsiders are stealing their jobs. Unemployment also encourages use of drugs by individuals. Proper economic planning, consistent policies of government, better law and order situation, abolishing energy crisis, sincerity with Pakistan and by adopting the Islamic economic system we can not only tackle the issue of unemployment but every economic problem of our country as well.

Pakistani wedding celebrations now-a-days!

Even though the Islamic marriage practice is simple, many Muslims plan colorful, multiday celebrations to mark a wedding. The traditional marriage ceremony itself, called a “Nikah” in Arabic, is simple and short activity. It generally follows the process as:

At the wedding, which can take place pretty much anywhere, the bride and groom are separated in different rooms. An officiant, who can be any man familiar with Islamic law, heads to each room separately. There he asks the spouses-to-be if they consent to the marriage and if they are marrying of their own free will. A representative called a “Wali” answers the officiant's questions on the bride's behalf. The couple signs the marriage contract or license, with witnesses observing. The officiant brings the pair together and pronounces them husband and wife.

The wedding traditions for the Muslims will also include an engagement ceremony, called the “Mangni”. In this ceremony, the groom's family provides a dress for the bride, and the Muslim couple exchange rings. The customs of the Muslim culture stresses upon various restrictions when it comes to marriage. The Muslim families supposed to invite all the people they know for the wedding. They have to put extra effort to make this marriage a memorable among family and friends. They have to spend money and bring people from faraway places. They sometimes crossed their limits and they borrow money to conduct a wedding in this showoff manner.

It is important to note that some of the customs followed in Pakistani weddings have no foundation in Islam. Nevertheless, the Pakistani culture has adopted those ceremonies and traditions from the Hindu culture. Such as “Dholki” which is totally based on singing and dancing, Mayun which is the bride entering into the state of isolation seven days before the wedding. She’s made free of all the household tasks and responsibilities around the house. Ubtan that is actually a paste made from turmeric, sandalwood powder, herbs and aromatic oils, which groom's mother brings for bride. She blesses bride and applies “Ubtan’ to the bride's hands and face. Groom's sister also does the same, and a thick string called a “Gana” is tied to the bride’s arm. “Ubtan” is applied to the bride's skin each day leading up to the wedding. Similar ceremony is held for the groom, where bride's mother, sisters, cousins and friends bring “Ubtan” for groom and rub it on his skin. Rasm-e-Mehndi (Henna Party) takes place a day before the wedding. It’s a ceremony mainly of women. They apply Mehndi to the bride's hands and feet, sing, dance, and bless the bride. After the ceremony dinner is organized for the guests. Traditionally, the bride is not allowed to take part in the celebrations and keeps her face hidden in veil. Rasm-e-Mehndi is organized for grooms also. Baraat is procession of family, relatives, and friends of groom that go with the groom to bride’s home for official wedding ceremony. Groom makes his way to the bride's home on a richly decorated car and “Baraat” follows in different vehicles. Groom is given warm welcome by the bride’s family with rose petals. Then comes the “Nikah” time after that “Rukhsati” takes place in which the bride before her departure to the groom's house says goodbye to her parents, close friends and family. The Quran is held over her head as a blessing. It’s a pretty touching moment. Although this practice is un-Islamic but a lot of Pakistani families have come to adopt it.

 Walima is ceremony to announce the wedding to community and friends. It’s a grand reception hosted by the groom's parents. Relatives, friends and community people are invited to the reception. A lot of Western traditions have become a part of Islamic marriages, and they should not make this part of their traditions. One such tradition is displaying the bride on stage. The bride is not meant to be for public display, and she is supposed to be covered well too. She cannot display any parts of her body to the guests who are present at the Muslim marriage. The Muslim bride's family too, must not indulge in spending too much for the feast that they will want to hold after the marriage. It is only the duty of the Muslim bridegroom's family to have a feast or Walima, and invite all friends and family members for the feast.

Water and Power Crisis in Pakistan- The Reason Behind

There are lots of challenges faced by Pakistan but the most hot issue now days is shortage of water and power crisis that need to be solved right now. You can imagine, a country having Nuclear Technology and world's best irrigation and canal system, still not able to fullfil energy and water demands of their people. Who is responsible - not Pakistan but its people; rulers, bureaucrats and politicians.

We have resources, the problem is with system not with resources. I have been surprising, the way Pakistani Government - every political era - make decisions and do nothing. Are they never intellectual, lacking wisdom or get confused or individualists. They don't even know, their reputation is lowering day by day. They even unware about themselves too, Allah has give them the power so they can show how much potential and abilities they have but they never think on it. Must know who you are.

It is pre-planned thinking of those want to unstable Pakistan and they even control our government. However everybody knows what is right and wrong. We have to work for the betterment of Pakistan mutually, first of all develop positive thinkings and take the water and energy issue more important your personal matters. There is a need to implement strategies now, planning face is passed now - Every child of Pakistan knows that we need more dams and related projects. I don't understand, why 'KALA BAAG Dam' not made, what's the reason. Every Pakistani knows that this is our basic necessity, eliminate poor and negative thinkings - those against this mega project.

Actually, the energy crisis is generated artificially by our government. The reason is same 'greediness' and corruption. A great amount of money has to be paid by Pakistan Government to Private companies - energy suppliers and that's why many private sectors partnered with WAPDA (Water & Power Development Authority) temporary stop the supply of electricity. We have paid the taxes, electricity bills, the fault is again with our politicians who have fulfilled thie own desires and spent the whole money in their own interests (worthless). 

Now we as a Pakistani - youth of Pakistan - has to take the decisions. Thank to Allah, that give Pakistan,  great human assests with all the abilities, the youth of Pakistan. They have feelings about their beloved country, they always thinking how to change Pakistan, they always struggling. They represent the great future of Pakistan. They have the ability to talk on our own interests, negociate in a way that ends in a conclusion. 

Pakistan's government still has time to show improvement. They must take water and energy related issues seriously and find out the best solution. If they don't think then ultimately, change will be happened. Inshallah, Pakistan will prosperous (Ameen).  

The future of Pakistan is very bright

Pakistan is now changing......people become more aware about Pakistan day by day....they love to Pakistan more as ever. Media plays a big role in awaking Pakistanis.

The quality of education provided in the institutes both private and government in Pakistan in upgrading now and seems to be good enough to meet the world. We have top quality medical institutions where students from all over the world seek medical knowledge. However still there is a need to improve infrastructure in education section - as focus on improving campus life; sports activities must be there and equally opportunities provided to both boys and girls. The biggest issue that now a days is unemployment that can be solved by developing sources of earning for students. This is done by starting medium sized projects (local level) in every industry the Government will be wholly responsible for these projects, by practicing human resource management properly in government institutions in order to make efficient strategies about retirement and succession planning too.

Government of Pakistan needs to put little effort only in order to get maximum results. They must provide opportunities or create opportunities for local entrepreneurs - funds and other financial assistance should be provided by Government in order to utilize their talent best.

Youth of any country matters a lot in her success. Pakistan enriched with youngers. Youth of Pakistan plays important role in the prosperity of Pakistan and they will. There are about 50 -60 % youth in Pakistan. Unfortunately, due to lack of resources or we can say due to poor or bad strategies implemented by the Government, lot of youngsters now moving to other countries that will be bad for Pakistan. But Government has no time to think about this.......they only think about theirselves. However the situation is changed now, Pakistanis become frustrated with the current government and want real patriotic now. Media and courts done well and stands in front of Government currupt policies. This is a positive move for Pakistan.

Pakistan now faces the War on terror that raises other problems as no foreign direct investment, tourism and travel industry also damaged from this war. Terrorism is neither actually born in Pakistan nor Pakistani scholars responsible for it. However, this spreads by anti Muslims and anti-Pakistan forces that try their best to make Pakistan unstable. They don't know that we have best army in the world and Pakistanis have trust on their security forces. Inshallah we will win this war against terrorism soon. Muslim or especially Pakistani scholars now need to unite the Muslims and teach them the real Islamic laws. Islam is the symbol of peace and love.....must think. 

The shortage of water and electric supply are the issues generated by ourselves. We have resources and number of alternatives we find to produce electricity....the only need or demand is the sincere people or Government that we miss. We have great reservoirs of Cole that must be used as source of energy. Kalabag dam must be constructed and other lower and medium sized projects will be planned quickly. 

We have all .............except good government. We ourselves put effort now and lead Pakistan - little effort in our own field leads to the success of Pakistan. And now things are changing. 

May Allah prosper our country and save Pakistan. (Ameen!)

Role of Muslim Scholars in Pakistan

Muslim Scholars have a great history. They are known as researchers in the history. But now what we have , think about, only the preachers of Islam but with their own interests included.

You know why muslims are blammed as  terrorists now, the reason is, they lack knowledge or may be slave of their own believes (Firqa wariat). They portrait themselves in a way that world seems them as cruel persons or terrorists.

If the world see a picture of Muslim with the typical muslim dress on the front page of any great book related with research, science, medicine or IT then they automatically accept that these are muslims, the scholars as the muslim scholars of history. If our sister, daughter, mother write a book or prove herself as a researcher, scholar, then the world realize that these are muslim women. why this can't happen. why we don't think like this..............

It will be very painful for us that our new generation feel fear in adopting muslim culture, typically muslim dress (Arab's Culture). They think that a man with darhi and Imama  is dangerous to them........ah! what a situation....and our muslim scholars not care about this. they even not know that our new generation is spoiling through media or all other non-muslim's weapons.

So there is a need to join all the muslim scholars and mutually work on solving the issues we have now.

All the muslim organizations in Pakistan must start working on how to save the young generation being spoiled. They must educate the little students or youth , the original Islam, the values that are given by our Prophet (PBUH), the real meaning of Islam.

Islam means Peace, and muslim is the one who bring peace in the society. msut think on it!

Learn .learn.......and learn and then reconstruct the knowledge you have in order to stand  at a level , you have in history as a great muslim scholar. We must prove that:

Muslims are best scholars, best doctors, best scientists, best trainers, best physicians, best rulers, best architectures, best engineers, best students, best teachers, best artists and in the end best humans in the world.

Education System of Pakistan

The biggest issue in the education system of Pakistan is the language barrier, means in which language we better teach the students and develop their personalities. 

Pakistan has a much foreign influence in the education system. we accept that Urdu is our national language but bother to learn in English what's this.I mean why we not use Urdu  for learning purposes. 

we have to make decisions now either 

- to make English Language as a national language, or

- use Urdu language in education system

We know that English is the language of Technology and has much influence on the world but we have examples of some great countries like China, Japan who even at a official level use to speak in their mother languages , why because they have confidence and develop their people as having the proud of their own language. Then why we can't do this.

must think on it 

Second this is the process of teaching that is implemented in Pakistan...... I really heart when I see the students as a academy dependent - they only think of getting marks as much as they can by joining academies which take this as a business. they have no concern with personality development, ethics, self improvement and spiritualism. all the institutions (academic) except few focus on only the course - subject related knowledge enough and give the concept of revision . the students think that as they revise and reproduce knowledge as they intelligent or shining. but the need is knowledge reconstruction rather than knowledge reproduction.....

Students must able to provide application of the knowledge , they previously get. why the intelligent students having marks 80 or 90 % fail in the practical field because they narrowly focus themselves , they have no idea what's going on in realty. they have no concepts about how to manage the situation , how the decisions are made. about 90 % students in Pakistan have no idea about their future. They don't know where will be they in next five to ten years . they not able to define their objective.have no vision, why, because of the institutions where they taught. 

The parents also influence much in their development......but they also learned from the same institutions where their children study now....... so there is need to think seriously about .....

Let's try to change Pakistan.change the eduction system of Pakistan. first of all we give attention to  the base.. play group to metric level. we must provide the opportunities of self development, knowledge sharing. there must be recreational activities besides the education so that, our children must be able to groom themselves. 

focus on the behavior that shown by the children about their desired profession or field them develop themselves according to their desired interests.......where they are more sharpen.....easy to pick..interested to know more and want to acquire skills and learn.
