Discover Pakistan: Ansoo Lake

Ansoo Lake is a high-altitude lake, elevation 16,490 feet or 5027 meters, in the Kaghan Valley near Malika-e-Parbat in the Himalayan range. The strange thing about it is the lake is said to have been discovered in 1993 by Pakistan Air Force pilots who were flying low above the area. Earlier, the lake was not even known to the locals. The name comes from its drop-like shape “the Urdu word Ansoo means tear”.
To reach this fascinating place one need to first come to Saif ul maluk Lake and then from there it takes one whole day if started earlier in the morning. One should travel for this in the season of July-August; because in the ends of August, there would be start of snow fall and even local people start evacuate these areas because of heavy snow fall in those areas. People having some breathing problems like Asthma, are not recommended for this. Because the air pressure will be lower at high altitudes and the tough hike could affect badly on such patients.
A far as clothing is concerned one needs to have some water proof clothes and especially take care of shoes and socks. Heavy rain can start any time there so one could need spare clothes too. For food items chocolates are best substitute of energy lose along with it mineral water & orange juice also a quick refill of energy requirements for such a place.
Before reaching on the top of the mountain where Ansoo Lake is situated one may find a “Dead Lake” as it is in a shape of Cup so better known in Urdu as “Piyala Lake”. While reaching on the final destiny one may find it uninteresting due to the snow all around but it is quite a nice place for picnic because all the time it is surrounded by dark & thick clouds. The scenes are really enjoyable there.
As this place is on the top of the mountain and involves so much hiking one may feel dizziness but it is pretty normal because of the Low oxygen at high altitudes. By going through the gorgeous beauty of the “Ansoo Lake” people feel refresh within seconds by themselves without consuming any energy drink.
This eternal beauty change drastically during each season like in spring it surrounds by the snow just start melting, in summer it all around covered by the greenery, in autumn the lake is skied by dark clouds, and finally in winter the whole place including the tear shape lake occupied by white stunning snow blanket.

Degree of bluntness of Pakistani news channels!

Country like Pakistan which has lack of everything is surprisingly abounded in the news channels. No one knows exactly how many news channels our country have but exactly knows they are many and still growing aggressively. The news channels with stimulating slogans and well built graphic techniques appealing today’s children too that have nothing to understand it. Commonly people like them because they are up dating us with latest news of the Pakistan or now more of about our city (042). They are providing us more employment, awareness, education and political situation the more curious one issue.
Pakistan has a number of channels which are more popular among people like Geo News, ARY News, Dawn News, Express News, Duniya News, Samma News, Waqt News, Indus News, Channel 5, Royal News, City 42 and one Pakistani official News channel PTV News. But with what they up dating is only deteriorating our psychological stability, Depression, Isolation, frustration, hatred, selfishness, criticism, chaos and confusion. Every Pakistani child knows what mobile, TV, Car, vehicles, internet is but nobody knows how these things are made and how they work.
Today our youth is wasting his time in front of these news channels because what do our children actually watch? Education about TNT, explosives, child and women rapes, human corpses, human flesh, human beheaded bodies, blood, tears, and complains. Talk shows based on science and technology, human history, world affairs OR Talk shows just about Stupid and corrupted Politicians in Pakistan. Are we receiving updated news about world or just Pakistan? What do we see in entertainment news? Off course nothing but stupid news about “porn Indian Film Industry”.
Crimes involving violence occur in large scale everywhere but no media ever shows the A-Z crime scene to the general public because they don’t want to violate the innocent minds of their young generation with horrifying videos and pictures but what happens in Pakistan is that not only the crime story is discussed in detail but they all show the crime blooded tools and crime location filled with blood and human corpses. They show blooded and burned human body parts live on their channels to our Children. Our children today know more about explosive devices and metal tools than they do about Science and technology.
The youth of Pakistan is losing trust on their country. Every literate Pakistani is in hurry to leave Pakistan as soon as Possible. Today more highly qualified Pakistani young gentlemen are serving Foreign Nations than serving their Homeland. And this is what westerns dream to see “a Confused Muslim Nation, with its youth with no purpose in life” and no attention towards Science and human development. News Channels serve only to show the bad about Pakistanis and Muslim. In short Most of these channels are ran and funded by western Companies. This Business is bringing them jewels plus serving their religious motives. This scenario is very important as a Pakistani to analyze and deal with it collectively.

Fatima Surayya Bajia

Commonly called as “Bajia” the lady is symbol of courage, faith and true adaptation of centuries which still continues. S9V8KH2RE87N She is a very renowned personality in Pakistan TV, Radio, and stage as a writer. She has achieved pride of performance award in Pakistan and several other awards from abroad regarding his literary and civil work. Remember that she also remained adviser to the chief Minister in Sindh province.
Aroosa and Asavari are two most popular plays by her. She has three sisters and two brothers. They are linked to the industry in one or the other way.  Zohra Nigah is her younger sister and a famous poet. Zubaida Tariq is also her younger sister and a well known cooking expert. Mrs. Kazmi is a famous dress designer and also Bajia’s third younger sister. They three of them have two brothers named as Ahmed Masood Hamidi and Anwer Maqsood both needs no introduction about their work.
Suffering by mouth cancer and her age element that has become conscious of Fatima Surayya Bajia seems to be living a hyperactive life. She described herself as “a civil society horse”. She has not written anything significant during the last seven or eight years as first her mother died and then she lost her two sisters. Furthermore a year or so ago passed away her brother Ahmed Maqsood Hamidi. She was at the age of 14 years when her grandfather published her first novel in India.
In her TV serials she elaborately depicts the culture of the area and the period she sets the story in. In Auraq, the literary program that ran for about two years on PTV, she vividly depicted the culture of the area whether Sindh, Punjab, Baluchistan, Frontier or Kashmir in the stories she included in the program. She surprised many literary critics when she came up with wedding songs purported to be written by Amir Khusrau. She normally snatches of Amir Khusrau’s poetry in a way pick one line or a stanza and then turned them into a complete geet format. She found this activity a more stimulating one as she very well aware of the vocabulary used during that era. By seeing the current crises faced by Pakistan she thinks that the situation in the country is frightening. But she believes in Allah and that He will set things right because among 18 million people at least 16 million are quite innocent and uncritical people.

Skincare treatments for Pakistani women!

The climate of Pakistan is quite hot & dry. All the women in such scenario seek the best skin care products to enhance their beauty or hide any blemishes in daily life. Everyone struggles with skin care issues from time to time and would apply a few general treatments for the healthy skin. In dry climates a decrease in moistness frequently leaves skin feeling dry and uncomfortable. This is particularly true for any layers of the dermis that have been injured by the sun. For this explanation, keeping the skin well hydrated is of greater significance for those who live in very dry climates than for those in clamminess like Pakistan. Hydrated skin begins with a hydrated body. Drink ample of water to offer natural moisture in addition to flush out toxins. Exfoliation is also vital to liberate the skin of old, dry and dead skin cells. The main method of battling dryness is to use a high quality moisturizing lotion for body. Sun, wind, and dry air can also be insensitive on hands. Find skin care products like hand cream that contains glycerin which is an effective moisture retaining substance.
It is much more important to make the skin clean and shine instead of fair in complexion. Firstly apply “sugar mask” every week it works for everyone in three ways as one: it brings life to skin and make it smooth. Two it makes the skin shine a little bit more as it wash out the whole week stored dust through the external skin pores. Three with these two benefits it removes the unwanted hair through skin which darkens the original complexion of the skin.
It is easy to prepare the mask. Three ingredients involve in making first one is white egg portion, second is 2 tab spoon of sugar, 4 drops of lemon juice. Simply stir white egg portion well in pan and then mix up 2 tab spoon of sugar and heat up so that sugar entirely soluble. In last add 4 drops of lemon juice and again heat up a little bit more. Apply on the skin with moderate temperature. Wash with water exactly after 15 min.
The other common problem as a result of depression and aging factor as well is freckles. For this apply “wheat mask” on the affected skin portion twice in a week. Mix wheat flour with vinegar and apply on face where the dark circles are appearing leave the mask until it dries and then wash out with water. In a nut shell, to keep you skin clean, smooth, and fresh & ready for make up all the time apply “Rose water” as a skin cleanser, make up remover and bed time care at night.

Appropriate attire for a Pakistani working lady!

In Pakistan too much fabric likes a large dupatta and too many accessories which seem totally impractical for the office environment. It is distracting for clients and no one wants to be taking care of outfit all day. However, its alternative can be conservative but very smart and perfect with a tailored outfit and a scarf. When the outfit requires too much maintenance it is not comfortable for a working lady or the people dealing with her. It is important to look good and have people concentrate on work activities rather than the person. Until the job scenario itself requires from oneself to be the center of attention at workplace.
Looking good is very crucial. However, the key is to balance look. Since in Pakistan the summer is so long thus lighter colors are preferred. One can go with bright but just be careful not to blind people with colors. Over-accessorizing and too much color or embroidery, badly stitched ill-fitting clothes are obviously not go with the office requirements. Smart and professional people are always taken more seriously that how they looks in any environment.
However in some environments one can be himself/herself and have the ability to express others through his style probably in personal presentation of any particular project or the business parties. Sweaters provide color and variety to woman's clothing, but they should be appealing rather than revealing. Inappropriate necklines and waistlines can give the wrong impression. When it comes to accessories and jewelry, less is once again more. Keep it simple: one ring per hand, one earring in each ear. Accessories should reflect your personality, not diminish your credibility. Faces, not feet, should be the focal point in business so chose conservative shoes. A low heel is more professional than flats or high heels. In spite of current fashion and the sandal rage, open-toed or backless shoes are not office attire. Not only are sandals a safety hazard, they suggest a certain official agenda.
In a nut shell the same overall rules apply to women's work attire as apply to men's. Business clothing is not a reflection of the latest fashion trend. A woman should be noticed for who she is and her professional skills rather than for what she wears. Her business wear should be appropriate for her industry and her position or title within the industry. Investing in a good business wardrobe is an investment in your professional future. For those who think it's not what you wear but who you are that creates success, give that some more thought. Business skills and experience count, but thus does personal appearance and that all-important first impression.

Deliverance of women in Pakistan!

Women whether working or not working as professionals are not placed only as label of custodian of family but should be responsible of character building of the whole society. Societies are built on the personalities of women which superficially look under control of men in Pakistan. A capable woman act like backbone of any family, if one of her disqualifies comprising of her values, character, hardworking and devotion for her family and surroundings slips, all matters shatter around men of her concern according to the men dominant culture here. Except in feudal culture her liberation is any way disturbed by the system itself. Women are dominant in all matters of her interests. If she has a wish to exceed in any matter she has lot of opportunity to excel depending upon her devotion, commitment and passion for that particular goal.
In Pakistan the girl’s brought up matters automatically is developing her sense of liberation. Some woman love to behave like childish nature and some families’ groom their girl child as confident and equal sharing person. They are picked by their spouses for their qualities. If Parents themselves degraded their girl child and let them down in front of a male partner she would naturally lose her sense of liberation or might react opposite to this and become disobedient and reactive to hold her importance in this system in which she was first disregarded by her parents.
Those women accept rudeness of men who take it normal from their family life styles and this trend is common in our lower, middle and so called top elite class with the same intensity in the whole Pakistani families no matter resides in whatever country. For lower class it becomes obvious to all as they are in majority and live in open spaces as compared to enclosed elite class who before coming out polish their traces of abused behavior in artificial get up.
The Pakistani women of today enjoy a better status than most Muslim and Middle Eastern women. However, on an average, the women's situation as compared to men is one of systemic subordination although there have been attempts by the government and enlightened groups to elevate the status of women in Pakistani society. In late 2006, the Pakistani parliament passed the Women's Protection Bill, repealing some of the Hudood Ordinances. The bill allowed for DNA and other scientific evidence to be used in prosecuting rape cases. The passing of the Bill and the consequent signing of it into law by President General Pervez Musharraf invoked protests from hard-line Islamic leaders and organization. Some experts also stated that the reforms will be impossible to enforce. President Asif Ali Zardari on January 29, 2010 signed the “Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace Bill 2009” which the parliament adopted on January 21, 2010. These are steps have been taken to give more freedom to the women of Pakistan so that they can play a vital role in nation building with ease but it needs true implementation from other ends of parties.

Traditional Pakistani Dressings

Shalwar Kameez is the national dress of Pakistan. Shalwars are loose trousers designed in various styles. Originally, the shalwars were flared towards the bottom with embellishments or fancy cut work. Today, there are many variations of the same. At times, the bottom of the shalwar is narrow and fitting. The shalwar kameez is important especially during the festivals celebrated in Pakistan, for men as well as women. Shalwar kameez is also popular due to the comfort factor.
